What is a Second Wedding Ceremony?

There are many couples who were married by a Judge or Justice of the Peace or a Court Clerk or a Notary or in a Court House setting who would like to have a more significant ceremony and/or a reception, this is the celebration that they could not have before. Also, there are many couples who wish to have a Second Wedding Ceremony because some of their loved ones or family members were unable to attend the first wedding ceremony.

What is the difference between a Second Wedding Ceremony and a Renewal of Marriage Vows?
A couple renews their wedding vows on special occasions or on their wedding anniversary or when they need to be reminded of how much their partner means to them. I know of a couple who renews their vows of marriage every five years at a location meaningful to them. Most couples who renew their wedding vows have already had a “traditional wedding ceremony and reception”.

What is the difference between a Wedding Ceremony and a Commitment Ceremony? What is an Affirmation of Love Ceremony? The word marriage cannot be used because it is NOT a legal ceremony (the couple have not applied or cannot apply for a Marriage License). Vows and an exchange of rings are permitted. A pronouncement of marriage cannot be made.

Do you perform any other types of ceremonies?
Yes, Baby Blessings and Christenings. These ceremonies can be performed on the beach or at someone’s home or in a park or in a banquet hall. Family members and dear friends can be incorporated into the ceremony.
